My name is Matt Reid, I’ve been tattooing for nearly 10 years, I specialise in dark abstractions and surreal horror, I spent many years working on honing in my understanding of the craft through experimenting with new needle groupings or techniques, learning about the epidermis, flow and healing techniques.

Over the years I’ve filtered that information down to what I create now and have created a unique and incredibly efficient application and healing technique, I try to focus on flow and anti flow to give tattoos ‘movements’ on the body to flatter the natural shapes when it stretches and contorts.

With permission from my clients I also like to spend some time feeling their energy and ensuring their tattoos fit their whole self, which I believe is essential for making a piece my clients will love for their lives.
