Falling In reverse/Black veil bRIDES/hollywood undead ADELAIDE ENTERTAINMENT CENTRE, SA 13/3/2025

Emo is 100% back in full force, coming up to the Adelaide Entertainment Centre this has been the longest line I've seen so far, even having a tattoo shop on Port road doing Falling in Reverse flash tattoo's, but as soon as those doors opened everyone was rushing in.

Hollywood Undead was first up and the band I was most excited to see. These party boys from (as you guessed it) Hollywood, California, still have the same "good vibes, great party" energy that i grew to love 10 years ago. People were still running into GA as they started their set the line was that long, this energetic six piece immediately did what they do best and got the party started, from chugging beers on stage with a guest vocalist to bringing on 6 year old "Eric" from the crowd to introduce "Coming in hot." Their energy was felt by everyone even if you were sitting down towards the back. Going through hits like "Everywhere I go" "California Dreaming" and "bullet" you could tell a lot of people had heard the band before but not by name, stopping for a quick second to let the drummer belt out the chorus for "Living On a Prayer" everyone loved these party boys and their energy.

Quick little side note: I went to go buy merch after Hollywood Undead and the merch stands had almost completely sold out of their stuff, there was so many people there.

Another titan of the genre came on next: Black Veil Brides, opening with the classic "Knives and Pens" the entire room was shaking with the buzz coming from the crowd and it only got louder when the vocalist Andy Biersack took his jacket off.
Smashing through "Bleeders" and "Coffin", the crowd was still somehow getting louder and louder. With constant breakdowns and some amazing live vocals these guys knew how to keep the energy going and go out screaming with "In The End", they were an amazing band with some frenetic on-stage energy.

Last but certainly not least we have Ronnie Radke and his motley crew Falling in Reverse. Starting it off in a really unique way, they live streamed walking up to the stage on one of the big screens. Starting off with "Prequel" Ronnie stopped the show momentarily due to sound issues and he let the crowd know that he wanted the best possible show for everyone tonight and it showed, playing through "Zombified" "Vampire" and "Bad guy" you could feel the flames all the way towards the back of General Admission. Bringing in the live camera for "Just like You" it honestly felt like filming a music video. Walking off stage for a minute with the camera still rolling they immediately went into singing "No Fear" off stage. Continuing with a cheeky hat tip to country in "All My Life"  and then finishing up with "Popular Monster" "voices in my head" and "Ronald" including Tech N9ne's verse. Tonight was a night of bands who had nothing but passion and wanting to be the very best, and if my moody twelve year old self had seen these bands live, I would have had the biggest smile on my face.
